ABOUT John Russell
John Russell strives to bring the unseen interactions of nature out of the dark and into minds of the Bozeman community.
Born in Montana and raised in Bozeman, John spent his childhood and teenage years exploring the Gallatin Valley. He developed a deep passion for skiing and mountain biking and just spending his time in nature. While attending college at MSU, he fell in love with the night sky and its unseen beauty. He made it a personal goal to learn about and capture the mythical cosmos through the lens of his camera. His love of photography has since then expanded into graphic design and painting.
